During lunch hour waited 20 minutes for a simple purchase of a small data only sim card. Staff take a break at this time too - unproductive for a small-staffed service industry.A tech-challenged friend wanted his phone unlocked. After a 15 minute wait he was given a number to call.*** Telstra unlock site states customers have option to visit their local store to unlock. ***The old Telstra Shop is where phone (bought outright) and plan was begun but new shop staff couldn't take the time assisting this person to change carriers. In my view that's shoddy after sales service.Edit: Are star boosters posting here? Staff can't be both woeful and wonderful. Which is it?

Big THANK YOU to Krystal, It's nice to see a young woman with such politeness and very eager to help with my unique situation, your dedication and kindness won't be forgotten. Thanks. TROY.

Fantastic service and very happy. Highly recommend Kelly as the person to see

Worst experience I have had, ever. The Manager of this store tried to get into an argument with me when I said I wasnt able to come in and wait 2.5 hours again in the same day. I called to ask if they could have the paperwork ready for me to come in and sign to send my phone away again for repairs and he says no they cant, they need to see my ID before they can do anything. When I pointed out that I had been in 10 mins before to pick up my $1800 phone without being asked for ID and that when I sent it off I wasnt asked for ID he started to raise his voice and became very rude, letting me know that it didnt matter that I had to work, it wasnt his problem and so on. I lodged a complaint with Telstra over this "service" and was told that because this store isnt owned by Telstra there wasnt anything they could or would do. Not good enough, if this is the "service" from the manager, I dont hold much hope for the staff. Thankfully, I was able to fix the issue with no trouble over the phone with the call centre who organised a replacement phone for me. I wont be visiting this store (or their other one in Hervey Bay) again and will tell anyone who will listen about the experience.

Got there early as the shop opened. Still had to wait 20 minutes. The woman was very helpful and friendly. Still waiting to be connected for landline.
