What a great place to stay
It is a old caravan park but the amenities are very clean and tidy. The park is very quiet and close to shops and restaurants and reasonably priced the owner is very good
This place is a joke we had family come up for a week with a camper trailer and the owner put them on the most uneven surface you could find, Then made them move as far away from the amenities as they could. My missus and myself went to help them set up and im a smoker so i had a cigarette there where we had set up some chairs to chill and have some time together but an elderly lady who lives there in a little cottage had a sook about me smoking so to fix the problem the owner put a big caravan where we had our camp chairs so that we had nowhere to sit or smoke so we couldnt visit the site anymore... so appalled by the place, will never recommend to anyone!
What a great park,booked to stay 2 weeks and ended up staying 6.Barry the owner is friendly and can't do enough for you,all staff are friendly as well.And are going back next winter for 3 months.Park is on 4 acres on banks of Mary River,go across bridge into Maryborough which is fantastic,steeped in history and has everything you could need,Hervey Bay is 30 minutes away.Everything is cheaper in Maryborough compared to Hervey Bay,fuel was 12 to 15 cents cheaper as well.Would recommend to anyone and have !!
