Food was delicious and well presented. The staff are very friendly. The live music was a bit loud in the restaurant but I think that was just for Australia Day.

Food and service was great. I thought $8 for 5 very small prawns for my topper was a bit rich!!! I was expecting at least 6 decent size prawns. Won't be wasting my money on that again.
I usually enjoy dinner at the Syd, but unfortunately this wasn't one of those times. It was very busy but drink in hand we just chilled and didn't mind the wait. Staff were good as usual but the meal really let down the night. My steak was very overcooked and my vegies were so al dente as to be raw. A real disappointment. I can't speak for the rest of the menu but not the first time I've had a bad steak there so I'll give the place a miss for a while.
